What does the Live Traffic Map do?
Feedjit's live traffic map shows the geographic locations of the last 100 visitors to your blog or website on a small map.
If you move your mouse over any point on the map the city and country for that visitor will be displayed.
How frequently is the data on my Feedjit map updated?
The map is updated in real-time and a new point will appear on it as visitors arrive on your site.
What about the privacy of my visitors?
The live traffic map only shows the city your visitors are in. In most cases each city has at least several thousand other residents, so this information is not enough to personally identify your visitors.
When I click the small map I get a larger map, but the points on the larger map are different. Why?
The small map shows the 100 most recent visitors to your website. The large map shows the 1000 most recent visitors. We designed it this way because the small map is too crowded with more than 100 points and the data becomes meaningless. The larger map has more space so we made the limit 1000 to give you more data.

If you serve more than 2 Million page views per day or more than 60 million page views per month then please contact us before you install Feedjit.
How accurate is the geographic database that Feedjit uses?
We can determine the geographic locations at the city level of 90% of your website visitors. Those that we can't determine are usually in remote locations, new towns or developments or behind corporate or ISP firewalls. We periodically update our database to include new locations.
