Live Events

Live Events is a streaming view of your new events as they happen.  It shows you when a visitor finds your site using a new keyword, when a new web page or web site sends you traffic for the first time (ie, a new referrer), when a visitor comes from a new city or a country as well as a list of the new records set by your site (greatest number of visitors per minute, hour, day).

All events

This is a combined view of the most recent new events including search terms, referring pages, cities, countries and records.

Search keywords

Displays the most recent search terms and phrases visitors used for the first time to find your site.

Referring pages

Displays the most recent referring web pages that sent you a visitor for the first time.

Referring sites

Displays the most recent referring web sites that sent you a visitor for the first time.

Cities

Displays the most recent cities that visited your site for the first time.

Countries

Displays the most recent countries that visited your site for the first time.

Records

Displays new records set by your site for most visits per minute, hour or day.  This helps you monitor when traffic spikes occur such as your blog or website being featured on a big web site that suddenly starts sending you traffic.  It can also help you track steady changes such as increased readership of your blog by posting several interesting articles.

When you first setup a site, 24 hours must pass before new records are set.  This gives Feedjit time to track your normal visitor frequency before starting to register new records.
